Rick Leon downed Brian White 4-1 in the final of Metro Open Snooker #5 at Maritime Billiards on January 18. Leon had match victories over Jacques Cote, Ed Skinner and Darrell Abolit, to reach the final. White scored wins over Jon Kynock, Pidge Ashworth, and Walter Somers enroute to the final. Abolit and Somers were the semi-finalists among the 12 player field.
