Amateur National 9-Ball Championships for Women were held October 20-22 at Dooly's Portland in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
40 Players from 8 Provinces participated in the Double Knockout competition. Match races were first player to win 7 games. The Final match was one-set extended race to 9.
First place went to Marie-France Blanchette of Mont St Hilare, Quebec. Runner-up was Guylaine Lapointe of Sudbury, Ontario. 3rd Place was Paris Shahsavar of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
Marie-France defeated Guylaine in the final 9-5.
