13 women set out to determine the 2019 Eastern Canadian 9-Ball Ladies Champion. The double knockout event began on Sunday October 10th, with the final 6 Ladies returning on Monday. Monday started with B-Side matches seeing Kathy Brock of Nova Scotia taking down Louise Cormier of New Brunswick 7-6. Also in B side action, two Nova Scotian ladies, Jennie Saulnier and Leigh Ann Giles, did combat with Giles coming out ahead at 7-3. Giles was then on the wrong side of a 7-6 scoreline versus Brock, sending Brock into the B-Side Final. Meanwhile, on the A-Side, Lin Lamirande of Nova Scotia sent Janet Ritcey, also of Nova Scotia, to the one loss side with a 9-6 victory for the hot seat. Ritcey regained her shot at redemption, getting the better of Brock 9-3. The final match saw Ritcey jump out early, and despite a late flurry by Lamirande, the Championship was decided 11-5 in favor of Ritcey. This was Ritcey's 4th career win in this event.
